I am new to the Forum but have been watching RFalconCam for a long time!  I am curious about the eyas, because they are the offspring of two falcons that are not banded, will they be banded?

That's an excellent question. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is in charge of banding. They alone decide if the eyases will be banded.

That said, given that the DEC banded last year, we believe they do so again this year. The fact that Nova and Neander are not banded should not be a factor in their decision. Mariah and Kaver were not banded, yet all of their offspring were.

Also, congrats on you first post!
