OMG!!!!!! I am teary at the thought that Aria is alive and doing well. But I have always loved reading about O'Connor. She so reminds me of our Mariah. I hope she is ok. I hope no battles. Aria, omg!!!
Congratulations, Jeanne!

What fabulous news! I do hope O'Connor is well and just avoiding the humans.
When I saw the pictures Alison posted I did think she reminded me of Beauty and hoped she was one of "ours".
So exciting!

I also hope that OConnor is ok and that she’ll show up again someday. Wonderful news that Aria has survived her first yr and really cool that she’s at the site where her dad hatched and we can watch her! Thanks for sharing, Carly!

This is quite a development! I sure hope O'Connor is okay and yay for Aria. Our local falcon watcher Jeanne, named her. Thanks for the update Carly!
hi MAK
She looks very similar to her big sister Cadence and mom Beauty and she flies like DC. We'll have to keep an eye on our other sites for O'Connor.
She's another Beautyful one!!!

If she looks like Beauty and flies like Doc.ca, I expect it will be a long time before Etobicoke changes hands again. Go, Aria!

Very well said Paul!
So happy to hear that Aria is doing well. Hoping that O'Connor is ok.

Perhaps Aria is immune to the construction going on at the ESL nestsite because she grew up listening to the Broad Street Bridge construction. Yeah, it's been going on that long.

That's good to know and will help her adjust here as the construction will be ongoing for another year. Aria, being a sub adult still, is very much a teenager in some ways. She calls for Lucky if he goes out of sight for too long and she cries for food when he brings some in for himself...perhaps wondering why he won't share like dad did..lol. She's a very good hunter herself and the other day Lucie caught her bringing in a gull! She flew over my head one day with a 'live bird' in her talons which kind of freaked me out! She is a joy to have here with her youthful exuberance.

Lucie registered here a few days ago, she's going to sort through her photos and then post some for you all to see. She's got some fantastic ones of her including these two she shared with me . I hope she doesn't mind me sharing it with you. This one was pigeon.
Edit to add: I just asked and she said it was okay to share
