A wolf wandering through a wildlife park in Brandenburg.

A German village is in mourning after a wolf broke into an enclosure and slaughtered 13 much-loved pet deer. Experts are urging farmers to protect their livestock better because the wolf population is set to keep increasing, putting the nation's uneasy, mythical relationship with the beast under strain.  Shocked

I agree with MAK it is beautiful and it probably wouldn't have happened if there was enough wild game about.
