http://vimeo.com/26998476 They eat frog??  These videos are just awesome. Thanks so much Nicole.

nycbird, your not kidding about that drop-off!  scared blue

Another wonderful video, although I think that was some sort of lizard, not a frog.  Did you see the length of the tail!  Yikes!  Whether frog or lizard, it was a good size meal.   2thumbsup

Gee, I thought it was a frog at first, then I noticed the tail. Didn't see it the 1st or 2nd time I watched but this time I did! It was big!

Whatever it was - frog or lizard - it is now "brown bread" (Cockney rhyming slang = dead). Gotta say it is just a tad nervous-making, seeing them flapping around on that cliff-face! When they fledge, they better FLEDGE!

No. Lanner falcon and peregrine falcon are two different species.

Thanks, Annette. My untrained eye was thinking there was a difference - now I know!

(Looks like you and I - and MAK! - are the only ones up this morning.)

There were 3 babies in the beginning of that video and towards the end, only 2!

Try not to think about that 3rd one Donna. I'm sure it's out there somewhere begging mom and dad for food.  Grin
