I just saw Quest feed the 3 eyases and left them with huge crops!  She flew away with some food to cache and Kendal must have come right in after that.

I was just perusing the family tree at rfalconcam, and I see the Kendall and Tiago are brothers!!  Not from the same clutch, born 4 or was it 5 years apart, but still, good parenting runs in the blood.  happy

Yes Kendal and Tiago are brothers from the 18 King St East nest site in Toronto.  Their parents are Erin, 1998 hatch from Froedtert Malt in Wisconsin ( daughter of Raynie and Leopold ) and Windwhistler, 1998 hatch from Etobicoke Sun Life ( son of Alberta and Toby ).  Good strong parental lines is right!!  The pair are 14 years old this year and have run the site since 2003.  Windwhistler has produced this year his 38th, 39th, 40th and 41st chick in his career of which 34 are with Erin.  We have also just located Dougal, a 2008 hatch from 18 King St E. and brother to Kendal and Tiago, in London, Ontario with Thunder, a 2005 hatch of Fancy and Groucho from Syracuse.  The 18 King St East nest site is a really good strong family line and a very productive nest site as seen in Kendal and Tiago!!

Don Mills – Monday June 4th – 2pm – 3 hatchlings  Banding date
clap clap :clap:YAY. for Quest's and Kendal's little ones and their banding.   Quest has always been special to me, and following her is such a joy.  I remember her banding day so well...even though I watched it long distance from work  (shhhhh!).  But I also ventured to the bridge at High Falls and Kodak (one afternoon) and saw all five of the fledges flying high in late June.  So she is special, and her quest has been so fascinating!   I hope some of you dedicated watchers can go up and view the banding, and maybe name one of the young un's?
