A friend of a friend wrote me and said she had 2 baby Robins she found. These do NOT look like Robins. Anyone know what they are? Here I'm giving her tips how to feed baby Robins, then she sends me the pic. I told her to take them to a wildlife rehab. Thanks if someone can tell me so I can tell her.

They don't look like their parents when they are little. http://www.learner.org/jnorth/tm/robin/FAQBabies.html

I'm reading this outside where there is lots of glare from the sun, and the photo looks pretty dark, so I'll admit this could be completely wrong based on not being able to see the picture very well, but they look starling-ish to me...

I assume she already tried to find the nest and return the babies, or put them up high nearby where the parents might find them?

Actually Patti, her daughter was working at Pet Smart at the time and someone dropped them off, that's all she knows about them. Some smarty thought they were abandoned and just picked them up. That's the story I got. I find this out later. She has been searching for a rehabber in Wisconsin where she lives.

Wish I knew for sure what they were as she is treating them as baby Robins.
