Our area in Co. Wicklow is also a release zone for Red Kites, but have we seen any? Guess. We see Buzzards fairly frequently, but no luck yet with the Kites. For obvious reasons, their nesting sites are closely guarded secrets, but that does not preclude a fly-over for us! (Then again... maybe if I hauled my butt away from the computer...)

Our area in Co. Wicklow is also a release zone for Red Kites, but have we seen any? Guess. We see Buzzards fairly frequently, but no luck yet with the Kites. For obvious reasons, their nesting sites are closely guarded secrets, but that does not preclude a fly-over for us! (Then again... maybe if I hauled my butt away from the computer...)
