Lonely owl really isn’t a love bird UK

BRITAIN'S loneliest bird is set to find fame.
The Snowy Owl has been looking for love in the Outer Hebrides for eight years.
Now it has been filmed by the Beeb's One Show and will be featured in the run-up to Christmas.
The roaming Romeo is at least nine years old. Another Snowy Owl was spotted in North Uist in 2008 but unfortunately it also turned out to be male.
At up to two foot in height and with a wingspan of over five feet, the Snowy is one of the largest owls in Europe.
The species was made famous by Harry Potter books, in which his pet Snowy Hedwig delivered his post.
