I hope he must be vaccinated against rabies, with a lot of shots! it is crazy that all the people celebrated his stupid action! What kind of message they are sending to young people... 
There are big efforts to teach about don´t touch any wild animal, including bats, with bare hands!  I hope he indemnifys bat cause giving a big amount of money to a bat organization!

Mirta - the NBA (in my non-humble opinion) is a training ground for thugs on their way to prision.  I'll put money down right now that this bat killing clip will be on ESPN's 2009 Best of Sports Wrap-up in a few weeks.  The message these thugs send on a daily basis, is guns, glitz, women, drugs, and thugery (and THAT starts at the college level).  To be fair, there are some good guys in the NBA (I think), but this is more the norm, and these are the people held up as role models.     It sickens me.  Janet
