Is this Our Guy in the Sky?! Anyway... something is passing by... Maybe that is O in the shadow..
That would be Cam 1 shadow and in the distance is the Flag at the Powers building! Nice try Bobbie!
Hahaha!!! Like the time I got all excited about a big white bird that turned out to be a plastic bag!

Am I ready now, folks? I think I look ready. Take a good look. Could be my last closeup.

He really looks ready to take the leap.
Sorry, the archives didn't get the still pic of the moment.

Someone better send O an email that it's time to fly. Maybe he isn't quite strong enough yet and Beauty and Dot.ca know it. Thought for sure he would go today. The red tails in Manhattan at both Washington Square and Cathedral of St. John the Divine all fledged in the evening. It was a surprise for everyone.

Part of it may be that he's an only-no competition for food-no sibling out there enticing him-or making him want to scram!

DotCa and his brother Blackberry both fledged on Day 42 and most of our kids seem to go around that time now. I'm not sure what it is but the past few years Day 42 to 43 seems to be more the norm - for Etobicoke site anyway.
I did think Orion would go earlier because he's on his own but glad he's taking his time so he'll be stronger when he finally takes that leap.

I was just about to post an SOS to the watchers!
Thank goodness he heard all of us telling him to go back to bed!
