Activity at Mississauga North Heats Up!!
August 09, 2013 - International, National and Local News
Tracy Simpson Reports:

I just heard news from Rob that the female we believe to be Alfrieda is still active around the Mississauga North buildings with a male yet to be identified.  While on lunch break, Rob took a peak to see if they were there and the pair came bombing in with much chit chat.  They definately seem to be courting and beginning to bond!  We will be working hard to discover who the male is and confirm without a doubt that this female is Alfrieda.  Don’t touch that dial there is so much more to come!!

OK...on my annual hunt for a few more facts before publishing the family tree...

Anyone have the band numbers for Virginia & Edward?

Billy's photos are covered, found 2 by Joyce of Edward, but all I have for Virginia is her banding photos. Help!

Trying to get an earlier than usual start on the family tree. Perhaps I'm missing something somewhere, but I cannot find much about Diamante & Glieg's 2014 brood.

I found 1 tweet from Joyce that 3 females were banded-Phoenix, Gustavina & Terrazzo and 1 Peregrine Place FB comment that all 3 were flying well but that's it.

Anyone have any pictures? Know of any other reports?

Thanks!

Well, you know we love to hear news about our Rochester falcons, especially when awesome pictures are available!
Jerry Anderson posted a picture of a Peregrine Falcon he had watched hunting at Gallagher Beach (Buffalo, NY) on the Buffalo-Niagara Rare Bird Alert.  He reported the following:
"This is one of the Peregrine Falcons I regularly photograph...
