The cam is back online.

Maybe Yankee can lure a new migrating falcon to his heated condo. It's also possible a new pair could take over the site and force Yankee out. We'll have to watch and see.
And there are extra pefas here. Two days ago we arrived at CT to find pefas chasing pefas away from the tower. We're still trying to figure out which birds came back and who is there today. I'm pretty sure Gleig is there but we cannot see any black over green bands. I haven't posted any of those pix yet.

What a sad and unfortunate situation all around. Sad also that Yankee had to witness it. I hope everything works out for the best for BB and Yankee.

So sorry about BB, Sage. I know how much you loved her and hope she will be alright in her new place. I feel so sorry for Yankee being witness to everything but hopefully he'll find another mate. Tough day.
I hope Diamanté is OK.

I'm so sorry, Sage! And feel sorry for BB. I can understand why they had to do it-- it is a liability if someone is injured and that has happened but it is unfortunate.

Wow
I could see her attacking closer to the nest, that would be understandable, but that sounds like awfully far away. Darn.

We saw only one bird at CT, very high, and it looked more like G than D. Nest was empty. We are going back now.
