so is there any chance of getting that lady a nest box before spring? Just to let her know she is very welcome.

BC - The DEC has been notified.  Hopefully we'll be able to work something out.  It sure would be nice to have a 2nd nest site here in Rochester.

WanderingFalcon (Carol P.): 4 pm LP @ KP. On the low catwalk east stack. She flew off landed on telephone line near lot then back to stack. KathyO & CarolP

I actually missed her flying down to the telephone line.  I had just pulled away, when my phone rang.  Kathy excitedly told me she had flown towards her and landed on the telephone wire near the parking lot we watch from!  I quickly did a U-turn and looked back towards the smoke stacks in time to see her land close to where she had been originally.

Kathy explained that Lady Pefa flew over her heading south, stooped low on something below tree level on the other side of Ridgeway Ave, then landed on a telephone line, directly across the street from where we watch from.  She then flew low in the same area and back to the telephone line, before taking off and heading east.  She veered back to the west and landed on the same catwalk she was originally on.

Hmmm, wonder what she might have been after???
