EDIT:  From Troup St, it looked like C was on jail tower when I arrived, then she flew east.  I went down to Exchange St to check the downtown skies and east across river.  When I turned back to the jail tower, I saw a large falcon and assumed Callidora was back.  I returned to the tower and once I saw the falcon take off I could see a silver band, not red and knew it was Beauty. Beauty did a stoop to the west, but returned with nothing. Beauty took off and flew towards Xerox.  Watchers in Frontier parking lot confirmed falcon came and went by the time I got there.  ~Joyce

wnyfalconfan (Joyce): Last sighting before dark: Callidora flew in from east and landed on the SW corner column of Xerox. Then C flew around HSBC out of sight.

EDIT: Carol P commented that Beauty has some missing feathers when in flight.  These were seen my pics when she took off from the jail tower.  The pics of the falcon flying to the top of Xerox had no missing feathers, and it was too large to be Archer.  It's good to know that downtown is still Callidora's home base. Wish she had taken to the gorge more.  ~Joyce

Tonights watchers include Jeanne,KathyO,Larry with Cleo,Joyce with Casey and Abbey,Dana,Lou and MAK. Beauty was on Xerox south side when we left tonight. Not sure where Archer was. No sightings of Callidora today. This evening before Suzanne and Don left for home in Ithaca Beauty flew over the Broad St. bridge for a few minutes and then disappeared up in the ozone.
   This morning a group of us went to the 19th ward to view a pair of Merlins. My first time seeing them. We also saw some beehives in one of the backyards. That's all folks!

Good morning!  This morning the only falcon I was able to find was Beauty. Still a little dark out at about 5:40 I found her first at Xerox.  She left and headed west toward the river. I went to Broad St. bridge to find her at the nest box.  She left there after a few minutes and I couldn't find her or any other falcons.
