Quest Moves Inland for July

July 5-13, 2010

It appears that Quest has decided to move north of Toronto for a while. Her most recent few days’ locations have placed her in nearby Brampton, Ontario. The satellite view of the map there shows parkland and plenty of multi-story buildings (including the local Police station), so it would appear that she has good perches and at least the potential for plentiful prey.

    Thank you so much for keeping us updated. I have been wondering how/where she has been.

  2. Barb Says:

    she is too close to the airport for my liking.

  3. Joyce Says:

    There are are several conservation areas northeast of Brampton. I wonder if she is checking them out as well. Strange that she is staying in a suburban setting. Food must be good.

  4. Joyce Says:

    Oops correction – I meant to say NORTHWEST of Brampton.

  5. Maureen in MA Says:

    @Barb – I had the same thought!

    Thank you for the update on Quest as I had been wondering as well. It’s great to still be able to monitor her whereabouts.

  6. Kris in Rochester Says:

    Quest is actually further from that airport than our falcons are from the Rochester airport. She’s about 4 miles away, so I wouldn’t be too concerned.
