Fledge Watch Information Posted & Nest Box Update

We’ve posted information for those of you who might be interested in joining the Fledge Watch. Read it here.

This morning Sacajawea took the plunge, hopping from the nest box to one of the cameras before joining Ananta and Grace in the “playpen” beneath the nest box. Little Linn got a visit from Mariah who brought breakfast, but hopefully she’ll join her sisters before long as well. First flights should come any day now, so keep watching!

Linn Out of Nest Box

UPDATE: 11:30AM It looks like Linn has left the nest box! She’s sitting on the ledge to the left of the box. Things are likely to start moving very quickly now, so stay tuned for more reports from our on-scene watchers!

It was so cool when Linn left. One minute I was looking at here with a friend- she was standing there looking all alone….next thing we knew the picture refreshed and she was down on the ledge. It has been really fantastic watching these little ones grow up.

I feel like I’ve been watching my kids! Now, the nest is empty and I was excited this morning to see Linn out on the little perch. Then she went back in and then out again and then was down on the side by the nest. I had some work to do – came back and Camera 1 is at a differnet angle and I see one or two of the sisters but what am I seeing? Is everything OK?

oh no….empty nest! i’m not ready!!

but how funny….the new angle of camera one, on the “playpen” now just shows a white blob of…well, of you know what…..lol

babies leaving the nest. hmmmm…my youngest daughter is reminding me of linn…..but soon i will look and she will have hopped~

Thanks Claudia for that info. about Camera 1…I did figure that one out after I finished my entry and went back to look. Then the ‘main’ Camera was back on Linn and Camera 1 angle got more interesting when lunch arrived. Love all these Sisters – they are beautiful and I’m going to miss watching them in the nest but they have a adventures ahead of them.

This is so exciting to see the girls move around and try their wings. Wish I were closer to see for myself. Good luck girls

I don’t see the babies anywhere. I have looked at camera 1 that shows the playpen several times today but I see nothing. Where are they? I see Linn finally took her leap!!!
