ROC the Day Starts Tonight at Midnight
Just a reminder to join us tonight at midnight as we ROC Rfalconcam!
And, yes, we have a plan to win the $500 and $1,000 bonuses. You can read all about it at http://rfalconcam.com/forum/index.php?topic=16147.
The link to donate should be https://www.roctheday.org/event/rfalconcam (no confirmation yet).

Thanks. We did it! We got the bonus for most donations in a 2-hour period, and we got another bonus when one of our donors, Lynne H., was selected to have an additional $500 donated to her favorite charity!

I am glad to see we are over 2K for the day. However, I do not think it will cover a cam for Billie and Seth. I will try for another ROC Star donation.

Well, that was my last ROC for tonight. Look forward to reading the grand total tomorrow morning. Thank-you, Shaky, Carol P., Dumpsterkitty, and everyone else who made the effort so we could support rfalconcam in such a spectacular way.

Thanks for your donations. Money is not the issue for establishing a webcam for Billie and Seth. We do not have permission to place cameras in the area of the nest.

I must add thanks to LisaK, the FalconFlyer.
I was not aware that we really knew exactly where Billie and Seth were nesting, I was thinking there would just be a camera looking at the top of the building where they are frequently observed to hang out. (focused not to look into any windows or balconies)
What is the objection to a webcam in that area?

The building owner does not want a camera on the building.

Thanks for your donation Alison! and everyone else! 🙂

“The building owner does not want a camera on the building.”
Because???
The falcons are already there and falcon watchers all know the falcons hang out on the building. A camera could mean fewer people coming by personally and more visiting virtually – and there is no such thing as a virtual trespass….

Who knows? Maybe the owner is having wild parties on the roof of the building.
