Zephyr at High Falls

Zephyr makes a turn by the High Falls in this photograph captured by Jim Pisello on July 14. He tells us that on this morning all five of the fledglings were out in the gorge, but the “Z-man put on quite a show, grabbing at the tops of trees and harassing his sisters with games of talon tag.”

Thanks you so much Jim for all your photos and commentaries and as always, they were wonderful. I miss seeing the everyday life with the ‘family’and envy everyone in Rochester from March through mid August that can be around them everyday if they choose. Really enjoy your website also..Thanks again for your input and keeping us informed.

Zephyr certainly earned his reputation as class clown. And he sure knows how to celebrate Bastille Day! 😉

Everyone wants to get a good shot of a falcon against the falls, and we all take a lot of them. It’s hard to go wrong with a falcon and a waterfall. However, this one is really special, even among falcon and falls pictures; the wonderful lighting makes it one of my all time favorite Rochester falcon images. Then again, Zephyr was one of my all time favorite falcons to watch.

    Great job, Lord G!

Thanks for that photo, he looks great, healthy indeed. Hope his siblings are doing well too.
