Update! Use PayPal to order M&M’s for M&K
A few days ago we told you about our new fundraising campaign. Now you can pay for your custom M&M package through PayPal™! Just click the logo below to go to the Genesee Valley Audubon Society’s PayPal™ page:
Refer to the M&M’s™ for M&K donation form to choose your package, then follow the simple 3-step process below.
- Fill out the amount of your donation and your account information on page 1 of the PayPal screen.
- On page 2, log on if you already have a PayPal™ account, or fill out the form to open one.
- On the third page, scroll to the bottom of the screen. In the Email to recipient section type “MMMK Order” in the subject line. In the Message section type your Donation Level and quantity, along with your mailing address (if different from the one you supplied for your PayPal™ account). Include any other notes up to the 300-character message limit. Here’s an example.
When you’re ready to place your order, click the 
button at the bottom of the screen.

LOL Chicki! I brought a bag of regular M&M’s when we put the packages together. Otherwise, I’m sure there would have been a lot less M&K M&M’s to share with everyone! 😉 Thanks for your support!

@Pam – We were worried about that, but so far all the M&M’s have arrived unmelted. I guess their old add was true. “They melt in your mouth, not in your hands! 😉

WOW!!! I just looked at the envelope from my package and it shows that it cost $2.24 to mail the package to me. If MM’s 4 M&K sends 1000 orders…..that will decrease the donation pool by over $2000.00. I am sending an additional check to cover for the postage.

@Jess – you’ll notice I sent a donation over the weekend via PayPal before I noticed the PayPal link to the M&M fundraiser was posted here. It’s a flat donation so you are not confused that it’s related to this campaign. I’ll send something separately!

@Maureen in MA, was you flat donation meant for GVAS in general, or was it meant specifically for rfalconcam?

@Shaky- My donation was meant specifically for rfalconcam. I thought sending it to GVAS directly went to rfalconcam since that’s what I was instructed to do last year. Is that not true? Or should I have actually specified “rfalconcam” on my contribution? Sorry for the confusion!

@Maureen GVAS handles all donations. There’s always the chance of confusing the intent of a donation. Now that I know that you meant that donation to go to rfalconcam, I will see to it that it goes there.

I ordered everything and it arrived two days ago and I feel like making a collage of it all – except the M&M’s – (I put them in the frig – until I can’t contain myself any longer!) Everything is better than I thought they would be and the verse for both Mariah and Kaver kind of chocked me up! Thank you for this great idea and now if T-shirts etc.. could have the peregrines look like Mariah and Kaver instead of a cartoon of them – – I’d order a big supply of all!

@Deborah, The Scrape has some t-shirts with photos of Mariah and Kaver on them.

Correction to July 24 Post:
With apologies — I found all the “paper” materials carefully sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard that were part of the mailing. Thank goodness I have a recycling bin for cardboard! Thanks for making all the materials — they are beautiful & nostalgic & heartwarming.
