Is Quest Getting Restless?

Quest March 1-9 2010

Within the past few days Quest has expanded her travel range, heading north on the 6th into Ontario’s countryside near Clyde Forks and the Lanark Highlands. On the 8th it was back to Prince Edward Point, only to journey west following Highway 401 into Toronto. The evening of the 9th showed her at what appears to be a large retail building in the 1100 block of Leslie Street, just north of Eglinton Ave East, and adjacent to the well wooded Willet Creek Park.

Maybe she’s just there for a visit, or it could be that she’s looking for a stylish new car. After all, Parkview BMW is just down the street…

  1. Alison in Indiana Says:

As I recall, Toronto is just full of falcon scrapes – battles over territory would be necessary. I hope Quest decides to go back and use that empty box at Lennox. (Of course there are more males in Toronto – tiercels, I mean – which is a plus…)

  2. Carol P. Says:

Nah, I think Quest would be more interested in a sports car than a BMW. 😉

  3. Jess Says:

BMW has quite a few sports cars in their stable…

Oh coool… I’m just a little west in Hamilton. I hope she decides to check out this area. There’s lots to offer around the Royal Botanical Gardens, just stay away from downtown Hamilton… the local female(Madame X) Peregrine is starting her 10th successful year at the Sheraton and is very territorial. No fear! in that girl 😉

  5. Carol P. Says:

OK, point taken. She would need a convertible…..

Do you all think maybe Rhea Mae extended her little sister an invite to a Spring Festival.??? Perhaps, a “pigeon under glass” brunch????

  7. Barb Says:

Maybe she was following some migrant males?

  8. Maureen in MA Says:

I think she’s looking for that convertible… and Ken 😀

I don’t recall her ever being tracked over a big city. Must be courtship related. Will our country gal find happiness in the big city?

A red Beemer would go nicely with her harness. 🙂

This rain may keep her near T.O. I’ll be looking for her and try to get the word out. I’ve been following since she was fit with the transmitter, actually long before she was hatched and this is so interesting. There’s lots of falcon activity in the downtown area 😉
