After Short ‘PEP’ Rally, Quest Back At Pickering

Quest Goes East

As she’s done in the past, Quest threw us a curve ball. After weeks at Pickering, she suddenly decided to take a trip east to Prince Edward Point. She stayed a couple of days then returned to Pickering, but not before making a stop-over in Port Hope on the 18th. Maybe she decided to take a flight down memory lane now that she seems to be settling down.

Or maybe her mate has migrated, leaving her alone in Pickering???

  2. Donna Says:

“I just met him and he leaves”. Hope if he did leave, he comes back to her in the Spring.

  3. sue Says:

Maybe he’s with her and she’s just taking him on a tour of all her favorite places to go out to dinner.

  4. Maureen in MA Says:

Quest’s data map hasn’t been updated in quite a long while. Has she lost her transmitter?? I know that day is coming…..

  5. Shaky Says:

She returned to PEP about 2 weeks ago. There must be good eats in that area.

Oh Maureen, I hope she doesn’t lose her satellite transmitter just yet! 🙁 I would love to know for sure where she is when she lays her first clutch! At least this way, we have a better chance of continuing to follow her for many years long after she has been liberated from the transmitter.

  7. Shaky Says:

There are no signs of her losing it yet.

any further information about Quest and her travels? It’s November 20 and I’m getting anxious…

  9. John Carlos Says:

I wish the tracking information was something that could be done on some kind of automated mapping system so that the people who are good enough to give us updates don’t have to manually do it all of the time… I’m sure everyone is VERY busy, but the last update was October 21st… Just has a way of getting me nervous that something’s wrong… 🙁

  10. Lennoxman Says:

One of the employees of Lennox Generating Station mentioned that they may have seen Quest near the plant a few days ago.

  11. ei Says:

Thanks for keeping an eye out for Quest, Lennoxman! She was on your end of the Lake then…

So where is she? Classes end today! I’d love to go with a group and see if we can get a sighting! 🙂
