Beauty and Dot.ca’s First Eyas Arrived This Morning – 5/17/14
The two resident Rochester Falcons, Beauty and Dot.ca, have a new addition to their nest box atop the Times Square Building in Downtown Rochester, NY.
Sometime before 5:27 am, an eyas (a young Peregrine falcon) hatched, to the delight of the many viewers from around the world watching the Rfalconcam live streaming video. Just click on the following link to watch.

Beauty has kept her eyas tucked under her to keep it warm, leaving for a brief break while Dot.ca took over brooding of the eyas and eggs.

Such an egg-citing time for Rochester! And especially Beauty and Dot.ca! Look at their stare-down! I hope you’ve all cancelled any doctor or other appointments this week that may have been on your calendars!
