A Super Falcon Watcher Weekend with Fledglings Flying High – 7/14/13

This weekend turned out to be a wonderful mixture of Falcon Friends and Falcons Flying. It doesn’t get much better than that. I have to go through the Guest Book which Lynn from NH so nicely supplied to list the names of the folks that attended this year’s Falcon Watch Weekend. There were a lot of old friends and new. Thanks to all that were able to make it to Rochester (NY) this year.
The juvies are flying high and fast. All three are doing incredibly well. For the next month or so, they will continue to learn how to be Peregrine Falcons before heading out on their own. This is the fun part. lol

Thank you so much MAK! I like that last photo too – of the family all together on the tower. I’m enjoying all the photos from the watchers weekend. We miss the kids so much already so it’s great we can still see them through ‘your’ eyes!

Carol, Those are wonderful photos! Thanks so much for taking the time to put captions and names to faces. The Internet seems to be doing quirky things lately. I appreciate your perseverance in creating a great family album of both Falcons and Falcon Watchers!

Joe – We pretty much follow the falcons now. Tonight we split our time between the Frontier Communication Tower and the Broad St Bridge. Saw the whole family tonight! Hope to see you soon!

Fantastic pictures. I love the last one too! Thank you so much for posting all of them. It sure was a great day! I really enjoyed meeting you and all the other watchers. And being able to see the falcons in person was awesome!

Carol, great report and wonderful pictures. Totally enjoyed WW and going through cam withdrawals but so happy we have three happy, healthy, Juvies. So happy to finally meet everyone

Thank you for every other informative web site. Where else may just I get that kind of info written in such a perfect method? I have a challenge that I’m simply now working on, and I’ve been on the glance out for such information.
