So Far, A Very Successful Fledge Watch! – 6/20/15
By Rochester Falcon Watcher Carol P.
Watchers: Dan S, Mary, MAK, Kathy O, Lisa McK, Dana, Joyce, Larry O, Patty, Pat, Brian, Lou, Colleen, Shaky, Carrie and Carol P. (Hope I remembered everyone.)
I wanted to take a few moments to look at my pictures from the last few days. Needless to say, I’ve been spending long hours downtown keeping an eye on our young falcons, along with my fellow watchers. So, I haven’t had much time to post a report.
The highlight of today was Cadence’s escape from the top balcony on the Cross Rds Bldg. It was Peregrine Problem Solving at its finest! I was there till 9:0o pm last night watching her try to figure out how to get out of her “prison” and was thrilled to here of her “great escape” this morning. WOOHOO! 🙂
The rest of the day was spent watching her and her brothers learning from each other and their parents. The next month or so will be a very exciting time for the young Peregrine’s and their watchers. If you have a chance, you should come downtown to check on the Rochester Falcons.
This evening, when we ended our watch at 9:00 pm, Cadence, Genesee and Bronx were all safely home on the Times Square Bldg with their parents nearby. All had been fed.
Here are some of my favorite images from the last few days. Enjoy!

Great shots, Carol! I especially like the shots of the three juvies by the ladder.
