A Christmas Weekend Falcon Watch – 12/24 & 12/25/11

Today I spent time with Beauty and yesterday some time with Unity, so both Rochester Lady Pefas were accounted for this Christmas Weekend.
All was peaceful at both sites, Downtown and Kodak Park. Sunny days with no snow. No white Christmas for Rochester.
I’ve put together a KGallery Album of pics and my report from this weekend and also included a few at the end of the pair of Pergrines we had been seeing at the Irondequoit Mall aka Medley Center.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too, Carol. I just looked through the album and it’s lovely.
I especially love the Mockingbird wings and and the take off pics.
It’s been an unusually un-snowy December for us, but I’m so glad to see that Beauty and Unity are still around. I wish that Mr. T would show his cute self as he did last year right around this time.
Any more sightings of the I mall peregrines?

Hi Margaret! Thanks for the kind words. Afraid there have no more reported sightings of the Irondequoit Mall Falcons. Dana works close by and looks for them everyday. They are a very beautiful pair. No Tiercels for Beauty or Unity yet. Happy New Year to you and everyone!
