2016 Genesee River Turtle

Here's a photo of the turtle that's been seen for the last few days on the Genesee River near the Broad Street Bridge.  He or she looks smaller than the turtle that's been spotted there for the last few years, and the shell is different.

Though he doesn't match the pictures I'm finding on the interwebs he looks like the red eared sliders I have in a pond near me.
