Hogmanay is the Scots word for the last day of the year and is synonymous with the celebration of the New Year
And... methinks... the last time anyone can catch a Haggis. As I am haggisly-challenged, I did not join in... Anyone have info on this??
The Haggis hunt goes on for a bit longer...
"The hunt begins at 12 noon on St Andrew’s Day, 30 November. The hunt ends at 3pm on Burns’ Night, 25 January."
I just spotted one in Times Square NYC

Hahahaha! That's way too funny! We look like the keystone cops when we were trying to set-up for the group shot.
