Oh.my. God!  Peregrines can be such fearless birds.  I'm surprised this bird would go after an owl but then again, we have seen them go after an eagle

Probably Nona or Squawker from the Evanston library-they are known to hunt the lake shore.

Totally awesome! I think pound for pound Peregrines are the fiercest of the raptors! Of course I kinda like  heart them best anyway!  Grin
