I just saw a falcon in the Centrale Bergum nestbox.
Is this falcon a kestrel or a peregrine?  ???

Looks like a peregrine to me.  The pictures I'm finding of European kestrels shows the breast spotting to go all the way up the neck.  This bird has a white bib like a peregrine.

I read some where that a falcon has taken over the Kestrel box. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
