Now,
that
was something! And wouldn't he just go out of sight so no one knows what he had? Kinda did not look like the prey was putting up a fight, did it? Would Bald Eagles eat carrion?

Eagles will eat dead stuff - I saw one haul off a dead fox (road kill). It was a fresh kill.

NX from Norfolk, currently in rehab at WCV, was apparently hit by a car while eating roadkill deer.
