Nature's Remedy
HELP NEEDED!!!!!

Family member needs our help!!
Hi, was hoping you could help me. We have a Falcon (what we believe is a Falcon) stuck in one if our warehouses in Tustin CA. He's been there for 3 days now. Animal control came out and said nothing they can do. We don't want it to be stuck over the weekend. Any suggestions to help us get it to fly out? We've tried with no success. Do you know if any rescues in Orange County, CA? We need help!

Throw it some meat so it doesn't get dehydrated or starve-a whole chicken or 2 for the weekend maybe!? Any experts out there have anything to share?

I'd put some quail or raw chicken breast near the exit and then back out to a safe distance.  It might lure the falcon towards the exit as it is likely hungry and then you'd accomplish two things - feeding it and showing it the way out.  But they'd have to hide somewhere so as not to spook the bird and force it back inside.  That's assuming there is easy access to the exit from where he/she is trapped?

I've lured a few birds trapped in our office towers concourse out that way and make sure the door - if there is one - is propped open with something (not a human) so it won't be afraid to fly to the food and then it will fly out.

And if that doesn't work a wildlife rehabilitator would likely have more options.
