No, it was ViKing, one of the five orphans hacked from Richmond Hill in 2002 after Pounce-Kingsley and Victoria died.
Thanks for that tidbit!
They both died at the same time and left 5 orphans?? This stuff is getting knee deep but awesome finding out all this info. Did we know this and I forgot?
I don't recall the details, but Pounce-Kingsley died first then Victoria a while later. It was the subject of the movie we saw fledge watch weekend 2010-Return of the Peregrine I think...
Those of us following the Rochester falcons in 2002 were aware of it.
We sure were Shaky, I was lucky to have named one, I was thrilled when Marcel told me.

Hope was fitted with a transmitter, Sad to say they never found either.

And fellow Rochester watchers Ann O'Connor and Connie Merchant named Hope's sister, Majesty.

I think Majesty had a nest -- didn't she? Ohio?
I didn't know you named a falcon, Ginha! Very cool and what a beautiful name!

Don't hear about this happening too often!
A falcon shows up in a Walmart shortly after Cornpoppy joins the company. Hmmm...
I forwarded this to Cornpoppy, figuring one of his new job duties might be the head Walmart Falcon Greeter.

Oh, and let's not forget that one of our girls (at the moment I can't remember which one), was found inside a pigeon trap on top of a hospital roof. Let's just say there were fewer "live" pigeons in their when they released her. A real Stephen King story for pigeons.
