Chinese takeaway container becomes bird nest

An old chinese takeaway container has provided the ideal home for a family of swifts in Nottingham after their nest collapsed.

When the birds fell to the ground last week, quick thinking Vivienne and her husband scooped the chicks up, fixed the plastic box to the wall and popped them in.



A week on and they look do be doing ok, as you can see.
