Joyce picked me up after my morning falcon watch and we went to Medley Centre first to see Big Frank. Next stop was Irondequoit Bay where we saw lots of cormorants and an Osprey. Onward to Buffalo where we saw Gleig and Diamante at Central Terminal, Dixie and Yankee at MacKay Tower on the University of Buffalo campus. I saw a total of 10 Peregrine Falcons today including what I saw on my morning watch. We found the smallest of falcons-an American Kestrel at the Holcim grain elevators in Buffalo. Joyce talked me into going 28 floors up onto the observation deck of Buffalo's City Hall-great view but a bit too high for me. And lastly we stopped at the Iroquois Wildlife Refuge on the way home and saw lots of Canada Geese, Great Blue Herons, a Grebe and some deer. We also saw a few Red-tail Hawks and many Monarch Butterflies on our travels. Come along with us by clicking on the links below to see a photo album and videos.   wave

The clickable link doesn't work but copying and pasting MAK's original link does.  MAK, the pictures are great, and the series of pics of Yankee are particularly striking.  Great job, as always!

Thanks Donna! This link isn't working for me and I don't know why mine won't work. I've copy and pasted it several times but it just won't work. Sorry nobody can look at my photo album.  Sad

Thanks Pat! I'd say the pics of Yankee and Dixie came out the best probably because we could get closer to them.  Grin
