pcarey2786 (patsy6): Found this on falcon Buckee in a pdf at

If this is so, then this female is grand daughter of Zephyr and Guinevere (both dead now) from South Bend Indiana - you'll remember Zephyr lost one of his legs the year before he was found dead. Their nest box was on the Tower Building and moved to it's current location in 2007. I'll ask Gigi for more details on her mom - as they don't give her name, just where she was born and the year and I know both Z and G were the pair that year but want to confirm it.

I knew I had read the name Beaster before; BCAW follows their nest:
Report by Greg Septon
On March 1, I read the color band of an adult male peregrine via the webcam at the Racine County Courthouse nest box. The male here is once again Beaster (b/g) 67/M. Beaster was produced in 2005 at Pleasant Prairie Power Plant and is back at Racine for his seventh year. Beaster is paired with (b/g) R/13 from Indiana, back for her sixth year. Their four eggs should hatch between May 5 – 7.

Buckee could be male, found the 2013 thread for the nest site - it has a cam too. The said 2 boys but banding report says 2 girls....
warning
lots of deaths of babies at this site (not just this year) so proceed with caution reading as there is a hard to look at photo in this thread as you scroll through of parent removing body.

Thanks, carly. I daresay we'll find out for sure eventually if Buckee sticks around. Meanwhile, I've figured out why Pigott left last year. She must have found out that there was a new rule that in 2015 all Rochester area female peregrines must have names beginning with the letter B.
