Great news out of Buffalo- "Note from DEC: " Dixie didn't turn out to be dead after all. The dead bird ended up being a big Cooper's hawk."
So our Dixie is alive!"

Wow, MAK! Such incredible news! Best news of the month. I thought the female looked a lot like Dixie, but really didn't dare to hope it would be her.

So happy for her and for Yankee. Sad for the Cooper's hawk.

Sattler Erica is being seen daily at Humber Bay, Canada, Hunting on ice. 

Erica is a 2016 hatch from Statler. Ann B sent the pics taken by Sean Von Dogner

Humber bay is 30 minutes from Ann's house!!  2thumbsup 
Hope she stays a while!
