Racine, Wisconsin Peregrines 2016

The resident male at this nest is Beaster, born in 2005 at the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant nest in Wisconsin. He is banded black/green 67/M.
His mate is R/13, born in 2007 at the South Bend nest in Indiana. She is a daughter of the iconic pair Zephyr and Guinevere.
I have always thought that Beaster is one of the most handsome tiercels around, with his solid dark hood and pristine white bib.

I believe these are Buckee's parents. Buckee is the pefa that was seen and identified at atop the Hawkeye Building in Rochester this past fall.

You're right, Patsy, these are Buckee's parents. I know Buckee was in Rochester last year, but whatever happened to her (or him)?
There were originally three chicks in 2013, but one chick disappeared very young.
These are early photos of Buckee and sibling from my archives:

Beaster and R/13 have been incubating eggs, but now the cam is down.
It was posted on the site that on March 31, a storm knocked out the cam, and that "we looked into ways of repairing the camera without disturbing the expecting parents, but due to a matter of safety and federal law, the falcons and their eggs may not be disturbed."
On April 6, this update was posted:
"April 6th, 2016 - As per Greg Septon, Falconer/Bander - "I visited the nest box this afternoon and was very pleased to find 4 eggs! I had been concerned earlier when I found only 1 egg on my last visit since the female appeared to have been incubating. In any case everything looks normal now.
Estimated Hatch Dates are May 1 - 3. As updates occur, we'll keep you posted!"
Love the photo of R/13 with her eggs which was posted with the update:

The webcam was down through the entire breeding season. It came back on line two days ago, but the cam is aimed at the yacht club instead of the nest, as it has been for the past few winters.
Buckee's siblings from this year are Rose Anne, Len and Karen.
Rose Anne is banded black/blue 54/M
Len is banded black/blue 67/A
Karen is banded black/blue 53/M
