The cam is up and running for the new season!  Harriet and M15 have been busy rebuilding their nest, after the old one from last season fell down a few months ago!

Thank you for the link, Kris! I hope Harriet and M15 will have a very safe and successful year.

Do you know if there have been any sightings of E8 since his release?

Unfortunately, no sightings of E8 since his release..hoping he's doing well, wherever he is.

I hope so too. He is such a courageous young eagle.

The eagles have been staying close to home, and the nest looks close to completion:

Bad news-good news.

A couple days ago, M15 brought in some grasses and placed them on top of egg #1 and it's been buried ever since.  This was posted on their FB page today.

After viewing recordings and comparing eggs, we can confirm Egg 2 was laid on November 25 at approximately 6:13pm. Egg #1 may have been compromised in some way and has been buried deeper into the nest material.

Harriet and M continue to amaze us with their instincts and we hope for the best for both eggs.

Hatching is under way at the nest. The first egg did resurface and both eggs were incubated, but I think this is probably the second egg.
