There is a pair of peregrines who nest on one of the buildings which comprise the Nuremberg Imperial Castle.

A nest box was installed for them on the Sinwell Tower, which was built in the second half of the thirteenth century. It is the building in the center of the photo below. "Sinwell" means "very round" in Middle High German.



Two years ago, the birds raised one chick. Last year, they raised two chicks.
