Thank god, unlock and Cadence (assuming it's her) flew off. The one with messy, wet wings just also flew, suspect that was mom.  SGB has a good photo if you can look and if that's Cadence facing cam, don't see any injuries visible on her breast or face..she's absolutely gorgeous.  (sorry but she is, know it's a bad time to say that)

Wow, hard to watch!! I didn't know this cam had sound........where's the volume button? I don't have one!!

Doesn't have sound as far as I know.  I'm not watching the video, I saw the end of it live and that's enough for me.  I know Cadence is safe, I'm good.

Mom on cam now.  Saw dad earlier so all three safe.   Can only see side of mom but she is moving well.

The battle continues between the two adult female falcons but this time the scene is caught on "tape". In this clip the intruder and the resident bird plumment from the sky, talons locked and land in the rain gutter on the courthouse roof. If you look closely, you can see the bands on the intruder falcon. Her chest is more speckled while the bib on the resident falcon is pure white. While not shown in this video, the intruder flies off leaving the resident female to tend to her wounds. Later, she is seen eating a meal. Defending territory is tough and stressful on the birds. It remains to be seen what will happen next

She's still there according to Chad, they were locked again this afternoon!!

Chad had seen a third bird fly by earlier this afternoon. It certainly seems like they were locked up again judging on how worn out resident girl is now. She was looking much perkier this morning after the first battle. I just want this to be over for her, she's fought so hard for her family.

Anytime I've checked in since the morning, it's been quiet save for mom and dad working on making egg #3.   No doubt she's tired, given it's egg time but I haven't seen a third bird around since this morning.  Mom has a full crop so she's had a good meal and all is well at the moment at least.
