I was watching too Joyce. She gently beaked and rolled the eggs a couple times. She is very careful with them. She'll figure it out in time.  happy

Thanks for the great captures, Donna, especially the one of Cadence rolling the eggs.   heart

I look at Dad faithfully incubating, and I sometimes get a lump in my throat.  I know Dot.ca would be doing the exact same thing if something had happened to Beauty.  I'm glad Dad got something to eat this morning, and I hope he hunted successfully today.

Checking in on this pair and both cams are zoomed in on the igloo...grrrr.  Dad was upset over something and ran out yelling but he's back quickly so likely TV's or something he didn't like.  I wish they'd pull the cam back again.

Just when you think after she rolls the eggs, she's going to sit. Nope, she does this every day!

Long conversation going on here in the igloo that started with Cady yelling at the male...I could tell by how her mouth was moving..like she was kacking...haha...he left and she's still yacking at him..you tell him girl!

She's outside now on the porch...He was gone awhile and came back without food so I guess she wasn't impressed?!.  He tried to go in and incubate his eggs but she was having none of it..lol...she is too cute.

Cady left after about 10 minutes and sure enough, not 60 seconds later he snuck back in and onto the eggs.

9:35 – 9:58 am Cadence checked out the eggs. Stood over them, preened, then did the brood patch shuffle. She laid on the dark egg for 3 seconds.  She did some pebble picking and then another brood patch shuffle and laid on the eggs again. Not for long though. I think her maternal instincts are kicking in. Maybe she is with egg?
