The pipped egg is Cady's I think...though in this light both are dark ...I'm looking at Beth's photo on bCAW and in this light both the front ones are dark but my gut says it's Cady's egg..we'll see.
I thought it was way past the window for the former female's eggs to hatch?

It is but everyone kept an open mind given what happened at the Gulf when Dori first took over. At that time everyone said 'no way those eggs will hatch' and then they did..lol.

She's doing a lot of shimmying. But too dark to see much.

5.43 am - All quiet this morning. Cadence was sound asleep when I logged on and now she's laying quietly on the eggs. She's up now pebble picking, all eggs in tact
As she moved now, I saw what could be a hole in an egg but if that's the same egg we think is pipped - it's been 2 days...

I was hoping she'd have at least one or two to raise - would be a good number for a first time mum.

That would be perfect.

YAY!!! Do we know if it was one of her eggs? If it was the one we saw pipped, I think it was. Now she's covering the chick and the rest of the eggs, as a good mom should.

I haven't seen anything yet other than egg shell and part of baby... Right before it hatched I was looking at a photo mwplay posted of the same pipped egg and it was half cracked so yes same one and it's her I'm sure.
