She is named by the Rfalconcam Executive Committee.  Donna, in honor of our good friend Donna Cook, who was a valued member of our Rfalconcam community and had followed the Rochester Falcons for many years.

Many thanks, once again, to the banding team from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation! And, as always, thanks to our Rfalconcam team on the ground for hosting another successful Banding Day.

And, our very sincere thanks to all our watchers out on the Internet who help the recovery of the peregrine falcon continue to thrive! We wouldn't be here without you!

A small correction. Earlier we stated that Lakota's left band was black 28 over green BA. It's actually black 29 over green BA.

Quick Summary:

3 males and 1 female

Lakota (M) - Left leg: black 29 over green BA, Right: silver
Named by Carla Provenzano of Rochester, NY

Phoenix (M) - Left leg: black 30 over green BA, Right: blue
Name submitted by Michael Ortiz of Rochester, NY; Jackie Poplawski of Webster, NY; and Mayra Sanchez of Rochester, NY; and selected by Rfalconcam Forum members

Jupiter (M) - Left leg: black 31 over green BA, Right: yellow
Named by Lynda and Tim Gersey of Romulus, NY

Donna (F) - Left leg: black 31 over green BW, Right: red
Named by the Rfalconcam Executive Committee in memory of Donna Cook
