11/19/22 Nest Box Visits
End of day
I didn't see Nova and Neander visit the nest box, but I did find them both on the east side of the 5 Star Bank Bldg near the top on the sign when I drove downtown.
Both were preening and all was peaceful and quiet. They were soaking up the sun on a bitter cold morning. This was between 8-10 am.

11/21/22 Nest Box Visits
Good morning!
Brian H reported late last night that he could see 2 falcons on the east side 5 Star Bank sign. Brian had never seen them on the sign before this weekend. He also believes that there Is a behavior change. He reports that the male he is seeing on 5 Star is larger than Neander and that he is displaying for the female, Nova? So we'll keep an eye on them the best we can. The winter months are tough and ever changing for our falcons!.
I was checking through the daily pictures. Nova and Neander were last seen together at the Times Square Bldg nest box on 11/10. Nova was there by herself on the 12th. It's possible that we may have a wintering male with Nova and Neander has migrated? DC did this the first few years he was here. Kaver too. Stay tuned!
9:11 am report from Larry O..."Five Star falcon watch. When I first pulled up I didn't have any falcons on the east side, but after walking Gimli a bit and getting back to the car, I found a falcon on the east side between the star and the f."
9:13 am report from Larry O..."Five Star falcon watch. And I've also found a falcon on the east side of Xerox, South corner, sitting on the light up near the very top. I would say of the two falcons, the larger one is on Xerox and the smaller one is on five Star."
End of a day

11/23/22 Nest Box Visits
Good morning
Today's reports
615 am - Brian H - Female still on the south side window ledge on Five Star. No sign of 2nd falcon.
6:56 am - Brian H. - I have 3 falcons on 5 Star bldg. South side bird in same spot. 1 on each corner, east side on ledge under railing. None are Neander size. Maybe 2 females and the large male? Or 2 large males and a female!
2:03 pm - Brian H. - No falcons in my sight at this time. Wonder if all 3 will be back on 5 Star tonight? That building is like the falcon sucking tree in the gorge!
End of day

Rainy morning here in Rochester, currently 45 degrees F
2 falcons on the Wilder chimney?
End of day
Falcon reports
For those wondering, 5 Star bank puts lights up on 2 sides of their bldg in the shape of giant Christmas Trees.
Overnight report from Brian H.
I have one falcon in sight that I can see. ESE ledge at corner under railing. They have the tree lit up on bldg now till New Year's Day. I'm guessing, the bird's up there. They have lights where it usually stays on window ledges. That's just my take on it.
5am rort from Brian H.
1 Pefa on east side window ledge. Tree goes dark at midnight or 1 am. Other bird's not in sight from here..
