I really like the Webcam with the Eurasian Eagle-Owl . It's such a huge kind of owl. His legs reminds me of the legs of a big dog.
There are 3 babies, it's not sure if the smallest one will survive, maybe they will eat them. (you know)
The babies have big wings already, I just saw one of them moving their wings, great!!

Entry today-Google translation:

Action station: Today we a young eagle owl with a GPS transmitter. The channel is carried out in collaboration with OWN, Forestry, SOVON, and Birds. It is made possible by financial support from Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund, the Province of Limburg, BirdLife and donations for the project in spring 2009 Experience. The action is expected between 10.30 - 13.30 hours place. Possibly the camera during the capture operations are temporarily disabled, there is nothing wrong with your computer. If the young owl back then still on the screen, you will see the antenna and possibly a portion of the transmitter to see. If the eagle owl is fully grown, the sender will no longer be seen and only the ante net. Every 10 days we will publish www.oehoe.web-log.nl what the young eagle owl has been up. Until September / October will provide data on how the young owl discovers the surrounding terrain. But then of course really valuable. Where will the eagle owl over and above ...... in what kind of areas, he / she breaks a few days or longer. We want to map such areas because it is clearly important for the species. Every evening at 23:00 hours, the owl using GPS technology located, hopefully about a year.
