Nova and Neander are now spending a lot of time at the TSB nest box. They have been perching on top of Cam 4, main cam and the roof of the nest box.

2/25/24 Falcon Pics and Observations
Neander arrived at the TSB nest box at 6:44 am.
Together
When I arrived downtown around 8 am, it was bitter cold at 20 F. Neander was on the corner of the Times Square Bldg nest box platform and Nova was eating on the ledge below the NW wing at the top of the TSB.
Neander looked up to watch Nova leave after finishing her meal.
At 8:54 am, he took off flying out from the TSB nest box, heading east over the river, fast.
I drove around and found Nova on the north side of the Xerox Building on the metal light framework at the NW corner. I was unable to find Neander before ending my downtown morning falcon watch.

A gift? Both Nova and Neander come to the TSB nest box and Nova has prey. Did Neander give her a gift of food?

We broke the high temp of 66F. It went up to 72F.
Nova arrived at the TSB nest box at 5:44 am.
Neander joined her at 5:55 am.
At 7:02 am, both Nova and Neander arrive at the TSB nest box. Neander has food, perhaps a gift for Nova?

Happy Leap Day!
After an evening of very high winds and plunging temperatures, I think it's Neander that arrives at the TSB nest box at 5:24 am.
Neander is spending a lot of time at the TSB nest box.
Neander brought in food and laid it down at the base of main cam. He left it there for a few minutes, then took it away.

Nova
I believe this is Neander that brought in food. In the next frame the food is gone. Did Nova take it?
On guard.

3/4/24 Falcon Pics and Observations
Falcon arrived at the TSB nest box at 5:08 am.
Neander
Both Nova and Neander
Nova
At 2:30 pm, our live streaming video captured an unbanded female following Neander into the nest box. Neander was not happy, he vocalized loudly and left heading SE. Nova landed on the corner of the platform and the unbanded female left heading NE. Neander returned, landing next to Nova. He entered the nest box and communicated with Nova.
It's been quiet since then. Hope it's just a falcon migrating through. Dana captured the video and posted it on a tweet.

Let's hope the unbanded female that came to the nest box yesterday has continued on her way.
I love my first look in the nest box this morning!
