5/26/25 Falcon Pics

New Guy



Just for the record, there was a feed at 9:06 on video. NG brought it in...eyas in the playpen stole it, self fed then NG took off. It looked like he might have left with it on the stills but he was empty taloned on video. A bit after 10 he came back and fed some of the gnarly bits to them so that doesn't count.

There might also have been a food drop at 4ish AM but the video skips from 3:10 to 6:54

As I mentioned the other day I remember back in the early Kodak days regular discussion if peregrines hunted at night...the answer then was occasionally but not regularly. We've found out since then it not uncommon at all! New Guy is busy busy busy on the overnights!

Denali to the poop deck for the first time, I believe. He actually made it out to the falcony and back into the nest box.
