Bad Manors Squirrel Diner

Evidently, last year someone in California got the idea to put a great big pile of nuts and/or seeds on their porch every day, and then photograph the squirrels when they came to eat. The catch? The nuts were accompanied by various weird things that squirrels wouldn't normally interact with... While the ustream website is somewhat difficult, a few pictures share the creativity.





The youtube channel is better, although it frequently experiences problems as well. (This video entitled bunny wrestling.)

Very cute!  However, Squirrels leave blood and urine all over the place, which is why we have moved all of our bird feeders to the back yard and away from the white porch.

Feet, maybe?  Squirrels scratch each other all the time, but I'm tired of cleaning up after them, so back yard in the trees they go!
