OH NO!!! What is going on there?
Jackdaws ate the eggs, someone got some screenshots of it over at another falcon board that I saw. Not sure where the parents are but not a good sign if they got past them and ate their eggs.
Those darn JD's, so sad.

Guess, like the crows here! I'm surprised they got past the falcon, unless she left it unattended for a while. Maybe she'll lay more eggs but with her past history, they don't hatch.

Surveying the damage. Poor girl.
Do falcons cry? I've seen an eagle cry when her baby died on one of the cams! I know dumb question. The eagle actually put her head up in the air and cried.

Poor girl. It's the male that is infertile from what I've read, she has had successful hatches with her previous mate. Wonder if this is the same guy? I've not heard.

Hi Annette,
This egg was already there. At first it looked like an eggshell. It's possibly damaged. We have to wait and see.Very sad anyway. Greetings Carla

Wow! I guess so! Good for her - hope she has better luck with keeping predators away this time and hatching!

I hope it works out for her this time. It has to be so disappointing. Maybe we are jinxing her with this heading. Can we change it to just Eemsmond?
