humming bird  We have a North Carolina theme going here!   hummer

Anyway, we headed south for Fathers day at my  sister-in-laws and while there Rich and I took advantage of the hummingbird antics.

They perch on the tomato cages.  Rich caught some bluebirds at the end, which are very different from the ones in Maryland.

Of course  Wink we stopped at Barboursville in VA and Shelton in NC (Vineyards) and bought a little wine  lol  Shelton is probably the prettiest vineyard that we have been to.  So pretty that I took a lot of pictures (gee, what a surprise)  laugh

And to see my garden growth:

Enjoy!

Early August.  12 X 24 X 6.5.  5 feet of pressed concrete around all edges.  Saphire Blue.  Oh, yea and my almost entire backyard is septic, so we had to move the pool forward about 12 feet.

Wish mine was in with this terrible heat and humidity.  I do know when we will get some serious rain....

The first weekend the pool is complete!

Which is why we are having it heated, too.  Salt water filtration, too.

We will have solar disks to keep the tree junk out, but opted to not have the big solar cover because I could see the squirrels shredding it.  I don't think we would have the heater on too much, but much beyond 80 is too hot for me, which is why we aren't having a spa or hot-tub installed.
